A lot of websites offer multiple checkout options which may seem great at first. Pay by credit card, paypal, google checkout, 2checkout, clickbank, e-gold or your first born child. The psychology of choice is interesting however. Science dictates that when users are presented with too many choices, it can be difficult and stressful to make a decision. As a result, no decision is made. In the case of shopping carts, this may be the case as well. Sometimes it is important to steer a user to make the most obvious decision.
